Knowledge Moves Mountains
School Beautification at Locke High School in Watts, California. The students participated in creating a mural across the side of their school building, painting during their lunch break and after school. In the initial discussions, the students described the mural as, “phoenix rising”, “rebirth”, and “from hardship & failures to a bright new future”.
